Ross has 20 years of experience working in Fortune 500s, family businesses, startups, and nonprofits. He brings diverse experience in global leadership, global operations, project management, and innovation.
Beyond HempGrid, Ross is an active entrepreneur. He’s the founder of Bright Global Futures–Worldwide, improving outcomes for people, companies, and universities from globalization. He also serves as Director of Business Development for North America Green Pulp, converting unused biomass into biodegradable containers.
Ross is a co-owner of Midwest Rubber Service & Supply Co.––his family business. Most recently serving as President of Midwest Rubber - Asia, and Global Director of Operations & Innovation. Ross established a foreign enterprise to manufacture and sell products in the Chinese market and established the company’s European presence with a sales and distribution center. Ross was at the forefront of transforming Midwest Rubber from a small Midwestern company into one with global reach.
Before joining his family’s business, Ross held sales & marketing management positions with Hormel Foods Corporation and Careerbuilder.com. St. John’s University selected him as an honorary inductee of the Sigma Beta Delta international business fraternity for his creation of high-impact experiential internships and involvement in entrepreneurial and business studies.
Ross earned a BA in Business Management from Saint John’s University and is a Certified Practicing Project Manager through the University of Saint Thomas.
