Hempgrid Names New Members to Corporate Team By Artie Perry, Hempgrid Managing Member
Hempgrid has named two experienced marketing communications strategists to its corporate partnership team, rounding out a highly talented national crew.
Colleen Troy is a former journalist who has spent decades leading external communications efforts for diverse organizations. Her marcomm agency has earned multiple national and regional awards for strategy and creativity. She holds a Masters in Media Ecology from New York University, and applies her skills as an adjunct professor at the College of Charleston, in Charleston, SC. Colleen has extensive experience in economic development, sits on numerous non-profit boards and dedicates significant energy to addressing diversity and equity across industries.
Working from Hempgrid’s Charleston area office, Colleen’s role will focus both on the company’s public facing activities and communications, and on helping guide our customers to make the most of their launch and growth activities. “Colleen has been in the hemp development space since its launch in the United States,” commented Artie Perry, the firm’s Managing Member. “We are grateful to have someone who can see this industry and its opportunities from so many angles while we help empower others.”
Thomas Glenn has spent his career solving complex global problems with private and public sector clients in over 20 countries. He formerly worked for IBM as a Client Solutions Executive and senior managing consultant, where he designed and delivered transformational programs for diverse clients. Thomas has worked in various client groups, and brings special experience in project interface with the United States Departments of Defense and Homeland Security, as well as China Customs Authority and the Defense Ministry of Kenya. He is also an entrepreneur with multiple start up experiences, who began his career as an adjunct professor at The Citadel Military College of South Carolina.
